Legal Agreement

1.1 Introduction

Welcome to Sol Volleyball ("we," "our," or "us"). We operate volleyball leagues out of Hialeah, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you register for our leagues and use our services.

1.2 Information We Collect

We collect the following personal information:

• Registration Information: Name, email, phone number, date of birth, shirt size
• Minor Information: For participants under 18, we collect parent/guardian name, email, phone, and consent records
• Team Information: Team name, team code, and team logos
• Payment Information: Payment status for league registration fees
• Legal Records: Consent timestamps, IP addresses, terms version accepted
• Photos and Videos: Images and recordings captured during league activities

1.3 How We Use Your Information

• Register you for volleyball leagues and manage participation
• Schedule games and communicate league updates
• Process registration payments and track payment status
• Verify parental consent for minors under 18
• Capture and share photos/videos for promotional purposes
• Comply with legal obligations and maintain consent records

1.4 Photography and Media Consent

BY ACCEPTING THIS PRIVACY POLICY, YOU CONSENT THAT:

• You may be photographed, filmed, or recorded during league activities
• We may use your image for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes
• You will not receive compensation for use of your image
• For minors, parent/guardian provides this consent on their behalf

1.5 Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. Passwords are encrypted, and consent records are stored securely with timestamps and IP addresses for legal compliance.

1.6 Children's Privacy

Participants under 18 years old require parent or legal guardian consent to participate. We collect parent/guardian information and maintain records of their consent for minors.

2.1 Acceptance of Terms

By registering for Sol Volleyball leagues, operated out of Hialeah, Florida, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. For minors under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accept these terms on their behalf.

2.2 Eligibility

• Participants of any age may register with proper consent
• Participants under 18 require parent/guardian consent and registration
• Provide accurate registration information
• Be physically capable of participating in volleyball activities

2.3 Registration and Payment

• Complete registration and pay all fees before participating
• All registration fees are non-refundable unless league is cancelled
• For minors, parent/guardian is responsible for payment

2.4 Code of Conduct

• Demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect
• Follow all league rules and facility guidelines
• Refrain from violent, abusive, or unsportsmanlike behavior
• Wear appropriate athletic attire

2.5 Parental Responsibility for Minors

Parents/guardians of minor participants are responsible for:

• Ensuring their child is physically capable of participating
• Supervising their child during league activities as appropriate
• Ensuring their child follows all rules and code of conduct
• All payments and fees associated with registration

3.1 Assumption of Risk

I ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

• Volleyball is a physical activity that carries inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, head injuries, and other serious injuries or death.
• I (or my minor child) voluntarily participate in Sol Volleyball leagues at my/our own risk and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages sustained.
• I understand these risks and voluntarily choose to participate (or allow my child to participate) despite these risks.

3.2 Release of Liability

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE:

Sol Volleyball, its owners, operators, employees, volunteers, sponsors, facility owners, and all affiliated parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from my (or my minor child's) participation in league activities.

This release includes, but is not limited to:

• Personal injury or death
• Property damage or loss
• Claims based on negligence or other causes
• Any injury or damage occurring before, during, or after league activities

3.3 Medical Treatment Authorization

I authorize Sol Volleyball staff to seek emergency medical treatment if necessary. I agree to be responsible for all costs associated with medical treatment. For minors, I authorize emergency treatment for my child and agree to be responsible for all associated costs.

3.4 Health and Fitness

I certify that I (or my minor child) am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation in volleyball activities. I have consulted with a physician if I have any health concerns.

3.5 Insurance

I understand that Sol Volleyball does not provide health or accident insurance for participants. I am responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage.

3.6 Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sol Volleyball and all affiliated parties from any loss, liability, damage, or costs that may arise from my (or my minor child's) participation.

3.7 Parental/Guardian Consent for Minors

IF THE PARTICIPANT IS UNDER 18 YEARS OLD:

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant. By accepting this waiver:

• I have the legal authority to consent to their participation
• I accept all terms, conditions, and releases on behalf of the minor
• I assume all risks on behalf of the minor participant
• I release all parties from liability for any injuries to the minor
• I agree to indemnify Sol Volleyball for any claims arising from the minor's participation

3.8 Governing Law

This waiver is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

3.9 Severability

If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
